The world of robot buildings

What if we had a world with buildings all built as robots?
Down the robots feet, there were rapid transit system
to connect every robots.
Needless to drive, because the shops, schools, offices...etc
are all in the robots.
When emergencies happened,
the robots could simply run away to safe spots.
